Remapped? How do I check?

Is there a quick and easy way (read: low cost) to find out if my MY07 TDV8 has been remapped?
It seems reasonably sprightly for it's age and and mileage (100K).
I don't want to fork out money to find that I get little in return due to it being done already, plus don't want to waste the time of a remap specialist who may plug into the vehicle only to find there is nothing for him to do.

You have to get a "mapper" to check, normally happily foc if you take it to them or try and find a mate with a similar car that's known chipped or not.
Mine was checked then done and what a difference. Many thanks
Paul

Do you have an IID Tool ?

If so, then BAS remaps are done using that - so they must have a way of checking remotely. They did my remap in the pre-IID days & I had to read & email them my map using a bespoke tool plugged into the ODB - that part is now replaced by the IID.
