No worries bud..... now there are a few phrases that you need..... "Consumer Rights Act" is a good one, and "Not fit for purpose" can reap good results too....

I am going to wait for a definitive answer from Husqvarna before I buy anything meanwhile using my 'less costly' saws to cut. Thanks for all the help guys, looking forward to my discussion with them should they not cover it under warranty |

I was looking again at a Stihl handbook and see that they specify a different mix ratio for Stihl oil and other high quality two-stroke engine oil, Stihl is 50:1 while other oil is 25:1. If Husqvarna is the same this might account for the extra wear you have experienced. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

So had a call from Husqvarna dealer this morning, saw will be back to me tomorrow, total cost included 4 litres of their oil (which I ordered), a new chain (which I ordered) and a new spark plug (which I didnt order), piston rings were replaced under warranty so all in all I am happy so far, lets see if its back to normal !! Meanwhile the guys are cutting like banshees with the cheapo chinese ones |
