Had the car 3 weeks now, all is good except for the rattle at 1200 rpm, but now for the second time in 2 weeks while driving i get the smart key not found warning, i always put the key in the cup holder near the gear selector, the first time it happened i replaced the battery in the key fob, it happened again while on the school, run this morning, so i picked the key up and placed it on my lap, press ok to clear but the warning triangle was still there, i was worried the steering lock would kick in so i pulled over and shut down and restarted,
is this a common thing, and is there a possibility of the steering lock engaging? Dave

It is Stan, cars ok i'm pleased with it, there collecting it next week to sort the rattle out.

As seen on many forums there customer service is shocking, they lie so much, i have an app on my mobile that records all calls, but i havent told them lol Dave

Had the same sort of thing on my FF when I got it, try changing the battery in the key fob, it sorted mine out straight away! 2006 RR sport HSE
