SWMBO's new ride

So, collected Wifey's new car today. After 6 years and 96k of ownership the XF was due to be changed.

I think the replacement was a good choice and it has the correct amount of cylinders as well Laughing

That's an understatement Stan. She's been uncontrollable for a week now waiting for it to land. Thumbs Up

Cheers Gaz. Must admit to having a soft spot for it myself although SWMBO looks far better in it than I do. I look like I'm having a mid-life crisis Laughing

Actually Bud, you being a trader and all that, you would probably understand my thinking. I had to replace the XF really and she wanted a drop-top. So given the following, what else is there?
She hated the F Type I borrowed. Too bumpy and too small.
She doesn't like Germanic stuff like BMW or Audi - too plain inside - no panache.
I won't entertain highly strung Italian exotica - too fragile
Absolutely nothing French (unless it's a Facel Vega of course)
So that left the XKR or DB9. (excluding the ridiculously priced Bentley of course, which is a VW Phaeton in drag)
Now I reckon once used F Types appear in numbers the XK will be a more specialist thing and the Aston will have a much better residual.
What else did I miss?

Man Maths. Don't ya just love it! Bow down Bow down

Yep, I drive past MIRA every day going to work and I've been seeing the DB11 since it was all still in camo. 'Tis a thing of beauty for sure. Thumbs Up
