Any idea where the plug skt is from the sensor it is not obvious? Been underneath today but access is not good when suspension inactive. If it ever stops raining I will have the wheel off! |

It is NOT a hard fault, i.e. it doesn't need turning off it just goes when the fault is fixed.

Make sure you have fiited the correct sensor for yor car , I bought one from ebay as my model was listed as correct , unfortunately this wasn't so , ended up sending the car to well known independent in ncl for diagnostics and they billed me for a repair to loom ( bullshit ) and told me the abs module needed replacement (more bull) they didn't diagnose the wrong sensor was fitted , it was only when I double checked the resistance against against the other sensors that the error was duscovered |

Yes abs sensors are a pain my rear was correctly diagnosed and fault cleared as soon as motion applied. Good tip the old sensor was jammed solid only tool effective was a flat wood drill but grind the point off first and be careful not to damage castle teeth on axle. I had a front sensor diagnosed wrongly once so just change the other to rule sensors out. |

Thanks for the info guys. Took it to a local indy and they saying that its showing an "open circuit" to the sensor and suggesting that its either wiring or more likely, the abs control unit !!
