This looks interesting:- Pure Highway 400

I see that there are two ways of providing connectivity:-
1) Via the FM transmitter or
2) Via a lead plugging into the Aux port

It doesn't get great reviews on method (1) but then I have yet to find an FM transmitter that works. I have tried loads - All cr@p! But method (2) seems to be positive.

It seems a good, cost effective way (for those with an Aux port at least) of getting DAB into an older FFRR plus some nice functionality with Spotify and music over Bluetooth.

I have the earlier model and use via the FM Transmitter to play my iPod.

I had the system in my Nissan Pathfinder before and used the DAB as well and was hard wired in to the FM aerial. Worked well in the Pathfinder and the sound quality was acceptable to me.

I could not get any reception in the FF so now only use for the iPod and as there is no antenna input near the head unit I use in FM Transmit mode. There is some background noise between tracks and it takes 20 seconds or so to power up as it I could not find a permanent live to wire to but when driving along the sound is acceptable.

I don't have an Aux-in in my FF and as it has the MOST system cannot use the Intravee. I would use the proper JLR system but as I have nearly 10,000 tunes and they are not in playlists it would still have limited functionality for a high price.

Professional fitting of a new unit could improve the experience. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
