Heated steering wheel

Hi my first question, and second post. i've searched on-line and this forum but i cant find the answer.

I'm taking delivery of a 2012 Vogue next week, when i went over the car i turned the heated steering wheel on but saw no indication that it was on or off, the wheel did get warm, but should there we a warning light on the dash or button itself?

i've just looked in the owners manual and it doesnt specify and warning lights...i think the button might be illuminated like the older years..

Thank you Gents, i didn't see the illumination, but the wheel got warm, and it was a sunny day so that could have been why i didn't see it.
