United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Orkney Grey

I should also have said, that our second TV, a 42 inch Panasonic, (3D!) came from the council tip, it's silly story, but the TV was perfect, but the accidental (mis)setup of the matching twin free view dVR had meant that the all in one remote didn't work, (was accidentally programmed as a second remote) and TC/DAVE, was inoperable. So woman junked the lot, and bought a smaller simple TV. This second TV, is better than our main tv but the old regular plasma, will never go pop and get replaced if we don't use it!
It's a funny world we live in.

They even brought it to the tip, in a lovely padded box! I just happened to park next to her, and got the rundown of this 'stupid tv' story, and offered to relieve her of it!
I joined a useful TV forum, (like this one) and had it working in an hour! -hidden menu!
The DVR was £600 new. (Panasonic Dmr bw780)

Just darned silly!

I've bought 'customer returns' (called 'open box' here) before and been happy with the deal and product. These were always things that the first customer didn't like, rather than ones sent back for fixing ('reconditioned').

OLED sounds great, as does the HDR TVs, but I can't see an advantage to 4K. That's just hype. Hey, if you need a new TV and the 4K is the right deal -great! Just don't pay extra for a 4K over a 2K.
