France 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Hi
I like the sound of the Land Rover ACM/Audio Connectivity Module Dension gateway for iPhone/iPod integration retaining CD changer.
But it looks a nightmare to install???

Also, Im not yet on the lightning connection, but the older Iphone 4....will it cope with that please?

Many thanks

Hi Sherman,

I'm not sure about the 2007, I guess it would be a little easier as it was planned for that vehicle.

If it's the same basic premise; you take the top off the dash and the glovebox out.- I'm not going to lie it could be seen a a bit fiddly, depending on how used to these things you are. Biggest issue I faced was juggling the glovebox back in place.

as a basic step by step:

Take dash end caps off.
Remove vents from ends of dash.
remove light switch from driver's side and cup holder from passenger (if the 2007 still has that)
remove the wood panels from the ends
remove the padded dash top (N.B> this will be different on yours due to the extra vents, on mine I just had the speaker on the dash top)
remove the touch screen and 'head unit'
remove the glove box
take out the CD changer (so you can connect the cables for the gateway in series 'daisy chaining' the MOST fibre optics.
attach the harness to the head unit
site the gateway
run the cables for the phone and control switch into the glove box.
test.

Then in true 'Hanes' manual tradition, refitting is the reverse of removal.

To your other question, the cable if comes with is the standard apple 30 pin for the 4/4S and it charges the phone, obviously the steering wheel controls work properly too, and the way it accesses your phone is that the first 5 'CDs' are the first 5 playlists on your phone, and CD6 is all of the music.

I hope this is helpful

Cheers

Northern Ireland 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

Hi Stephen

Very interested in the wireless headphones - I have a MY2010 RR Vogue SE with Factory fit rear entertainment - and I have one set of headphones - already - do you have any idea whether it would work with this model

Is there a part number on the headphones that I could look up?

Many thanks

Paddy
