Norway

First of all - with UK imports I will be driving on the wrong side of the road. Secondly with all the taxes and VAT it will not be cheaper to import. The only argument for import from e.g. Germany is the more choice due to a much bigger car market. As a comparison the car sales in Norway for a whole yeare equals a month in Germany.

With the extreme car prices in Norway every loop hole in the tax system is blocked by some kind of a rule....

Rather than Germany, what about Spain, Portugal, or another country unlikely to have cars that ever see road salt?

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Or why not buy register and insure it to a PO Box in another country? yes you might have to go back once a year for it to be tested but hey ho its a good excuse for a long weekend away Smile

You could do the above in the UK quite easily, although insurance companies limit you to either 90days in one trip or 90days for the whole year insurance coverage in mainland europe there are ways around that with slightly more expensive insurance premiums but it would still be a huge saving over the current prices you have to pay. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
