New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

The later models have exterior and interior updates including the Terrain Response, Key moved to Dash, Seats etc. As far as I know, no engine nor gearbox upgrades.

I love the 4.2 SC it is a brilliant car (Ok the 5.0 SC is quite a bit better). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Didn't the facelifted (tarrain response) models have a 6 speed auto box?

All of the SC's had the 6 speed gearbox regardless of model year.

Edit: Stan beat me to it!

2007 gets a Rear Locker, Heated and Cooled Seats, better interior (more wear resistant). 2010 gets a 5.0L supercharged beast with bigger brakes, upgraded interior switch gear, and an improved transmission the 6hp28 vs the 6hp26. OffRoadRover.com An American Western Range Rover Off Road Blog

the first year the sc was introduced it did not have a rear locker. In the us that is 06 it might be 05 in uk. Also in usa 2011.5 the supercharger was deleted and made optional.

Happy easter. OffRoadRover.com An American Western Range Rover Off Road Blog

Meant to say in 11.5 the rear diff was deleted off the sc and it still isnt standard on the V8 SC. OffRoadRover.com An American Western Range Rover Off Road Blog

My 05 build 4.2 SC had BT module which was replaced by an upgraded unit from Wiggs and worked great. It was a North American spec car by the way. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

MarkJohns - how did your search go?

I'm in a similar situation. I think the RR SC at Heritage is still for sale..............

http://www.heritagecarcompany.co.uk.razsor...3121903848

Is that the same one?

Any advice or tips you can share from your search so far?

Yep think i am going to buy private, dont trust dealers and poss buy from sone one off the forum if i can.Dealers wanting 2 or 3 grand more than private sellers on the pretext of waranty ect.In reality car probably from an auction with a quick make over by some one who has no idea about the vehicle and then get offered a 3 month warranty that covers very little and worth less than the piece of paper it is written on.
At least buying private you can assess the present owner ask the relevant questions and get an idea of how well the car has been treated.
Would definatley go for 2007 4:2 supercharged .due to the car tax they can be found around or the same price as 2004/05 models. The interior and six speed box i found make for a better car.Dont be put off by 100.000 milers go off the history and condition.Any one initially spending 75k on a car is likely to be doing high miles,so the first 70.000 were prob done in the first few years and appropriately serviced.
Good look with the search autotradehad a few on last week at £12k so they are about, getting married this week so search on hold at the mo Full fat 4.2 Sc

Just bear in mind that a 2005/6 is generally BMW based. 2007 onwards will be very Ford centric. Make your own decision from that.

Just put the wedding on hold until you've found the car you want. She'll be fine! Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 SC
