working on suspension

I'm going to change the bushes in the upper suspension arms on front and wondering if there is a preferred/ recommended position to have the height set to before working on same and removing the arms. Does it matter, should I just leave it in normal height? Declan

I believe that normal is the correct height for jacking it up Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Doesn't really matter where you have it, it'll sort itself out afterwards... If your doing it on the drive and are just jacking the front up make sure you leave a door (not the boot) open, this will stop it trying to level the back while it's jacked... Thumbs Up

Ummm... not too sure what you mean by upper suspension arms on the front, it's got a strut and two lower arms...

If you plan on changing the bushes in the lower arms then I hope you have a massive press, I broke my mates 20ton press doing mine, if I had to do them again I'd just buy the whole arm with a new bush... Thumbs Up Pete

When I said upper I mean the higher (rear) of the two bottom arms if that makes sense. Declan
