Doesn't really matter where you have it, it'll sort itself out afterwards... If your doing it on the drive and are just jacking the front up make sure you leave a door (not the boot) open, this will stop it trying to level the back while it's jacked...
Ummm... not too sure what you mean by upper suspension arms on the front, it's got a strut and two lower arms...
If you plan on changing the bushes in the lower arms then I hope you have a massive press, I broke my mates 20ton press doing mine, if I had to do them again I'd just buy the whole arm with a new bush... Pete
