Martin, the G4 roof racks are of a slightly different design, they have 4 bars welded from the top to the bottom rails at the front that the lights clamp on to. If you really have to have 4 lamps then I would think about drilling the plate on the rack either side of the existing hole and painting the holes before mounting your new lights..... If you were going to try and leave the roof rack stock and have custom brackets made it would have to be a one piece wrap around affair, as this would be the only way to stop the brackets turning...... or look at motor bike handle bar mounting lamps and clamp them to the top rail

My old Jeep had roof lights - as mentioned, bonnet glare could be an issue - I had separate isolator switches for the roof bar lights & KC's, so that I could shut them off independently, but otherwise they were on with the high beam.
