Alternative roof rack ?

Hi,

On my 15th land rover but first 405 - is there an alternative the the standard roof rack ? I don't like the look of the permanent rails but need to carry bikes / kayaks from time to time so would like a thule gutterless system but they don't do the 405.....

does anyone use any other system ?

I looked when I bought mine & haven't been able to find anything - I've always had Thule.

I assume its because of the panoramic roof that no-one has made anything after market.

I don't need to move my kayaks - just skis/snowboards & bikes - the boards & skis now fit better inside as the centre seat folds flat - and the bikes go on the back.

I'm not a fan of the permanent rails either.
