United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

While I understand that some wish to stick with originals,i do not understand those who dismiss other manufacturers as rubbish.Names such as pagaid, ebc, bosch and brembo do not make rubbish and would not be on sale at reputable outlets if they were.Sure someone could put new parts on and have a problem but it is rare but I have had track rod ends from a main dealer put on then failed the mot the next day on worn track rod end ! Maybe we should have a big red written note at the start of the forum'do not ask about aftermarket parts as we only recommend originals as all the rest are rubbish' .

Wear parts should just wear out, not wear out your money, time and nerves.
Not all "aftersale" original parts are bad, they just should leave the customer calmed down but not always satisfied.

The oil you buy as "original" spare part is the same as everywhere else, but for a higher price.
I pay it, because I want see the dealer satisfied, too.

I also would pay better parts, which they don't even offer, I prefer for my own safety:
Tires, brakes, lights.

Just my point if view.

I had 2 problems with original parts, not only once:
Battery and brake pads.

The battery died after 2,5 years and the pads felt like glas.
Both original parts I can't recommend for customers of Land Rover Karlsruhe.

After some German LR-forums I recognized: I'm not alone...

England 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Great service from Dan at Duckworth Thumbs Up
OEM front discs and pads delivered yesterday, fitted, road tested and all good Very Happy
There are cheaper alternatives, but I'm now happy that I will not suffer fade, vibration, squeal, out of balance or any of the scores of other foibles that could effect this huge, heavy, high performance brake package. Cool 2012MY Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Vogue...now gone!
