Automatic Wipers Retro fit.. what do you know?

Hi all, I'm trying to mod the ML to get it to a similar standard and spec of the ffrr Laughing Well there are some things that could be done better... the wiper controls are crap Sad Int, 1, 2, that's it, no adjustment on the Int either Banging Head It's just not fair Big Cry

So I posed the question could I retrofit the auto system to the ML, and sort of got an answer, and a head ache Evil or Very Mad The general consensus of opinion was yes but it would require sensor, wiper controls, new windscreen, ECU and a trip to the dealers, and , and, and I switched off at that point Embarassed

So feeling a little miffed Evil or Very Mad by the wonderful help and advise, I set about a mission to find a Pink Pong Retro fit kit, and found this Mr. Green http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Rain-l...SwZ8ZW54Gy

Then I found a demonstration or it Mr. Green Mr. Green

I already have a full set of Aero wipers on the car and they work really well..... the problem is they either don't move often enough or they are moving too much...... Banging Head there is no adjustment other than On and Off Evil or Very Mad Even a 25 year old Nissan Patrol has variable delay on the wipers, but Mercedes don't do variable... you can't have it On, or you can have it Off, and we have ways of driving you MAD Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Well I wont be far behind you Bud, just waiting to have some invoices paid and then I'll be copping hold of 1 too!

Reckon that they will just tap in to the existing loom to provide feeds for lights and wipers, that way the original switches will still override the sensor to give you manual, or once a year, control Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
