What's your mileage? Gearbox oil should be changed every 60k as per the manufacturer. Ring tes transmissions in westbury? They changed my fluid at a very reasonable rate.

i read this on another forum and it wasn't a conclusive fix....but its worth a try, disconnect the battery overnight and the ecu that sorts the gears should reset itself....but your problem might be mechanical not electronical [ just made that word up ] so my tip might be bo**ocks...

You can try an oil change, it can only help... What happened to your first box? Could whatever caused that to fail be causing problems with your new box? (thinking fluid cooler, overheating, blocked cooler lines etc etc) |
