Do I need a new rear wiper motor?

In the last few weeks when I use the rear wiper is sometimes gets stuck vertically down the rear screen. If I get out and move it an inch and then reactivate the wiper it continues on its journey and back tucked up under the spoiler.

Is this something that is repairable easily or does it need a new wiper motor? Tom

It's fixable. It is just the cog getting caught on Crud in the mechanism.Take it off and clean as per the wiki? (think there was one in there on this.)

I'll take it apart and have a look. Can't hurt to try to fix it if a replacement is easy enough to sort later. There seem to replacement cogs available on ebay. Thanks guys. Tom
