rear camera

my reverse camera shows upside down in the car and on a close inspection i think there is a lens cover missing i wonder if thats the problem? could somebody please post a close up photo of their camera so i can have a butchers thanks very much

also i did an oil and filler and other filter service this morning is the anyway without a tool to reset the service notice on a touch screen TD6?

Not sure if yours is too late but there is a reset method in Wiki. In fact need to do it the Wiki way with my MY2005 as Gap doesn't do it for earlier years. John

thank you Stan as i thought, the oblong outta lens cover is missing on mine I wonder if thats why the picture is upside down?

next quwstion does anybody have a spaire or old one knocking about? got to be worth a punt

i wouldnt think that is the cause..it looks like the cover is only there to protect the lens..

whilst doing a search i found that you asked this back in oct 2015..no joy in solving it then..

no, but what an idea does anyone know if i can mount the camera upside down?,before i start to take it apart to try only to find it must be mounted that way up

Weegie it was working fine untill about oct last year when it decided to go upside down so can the len bit come out of the plastic mount? or my first idea to turn the lot thro 180°

Just a thought but, your original post said that it was repaired some time ago and I carried out a repair to mine. Few weeks back using a camera insert.

This insert can be rotated through 360 deg so I had to make sure it was the correct way round before clipping the housing back in. Maybe yours has slipped round.

Long shot I know but I think you are going to have to remove the camera to investigate further.
