Any L322 Mirror Gurus/Experts out there?

I am embarrassed to admit I have a reverse polarity whist changing the battery on my RR some time ago Embarassed Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored

This resulted in the main fuse filing along with afew others

I counted myself very lucky as once all the fuses were replaced the car was fine barring the powerfold mirrors and adjustment L/RH. Wink I expected her to never go again Wink

I have put up with this for a while, but thought it was about tie I sorted it!!

I suspected I had blown the control unit mounted in the RH door so I have replaced it with a new one.

I powered everything down and removed the battery earth and replaced the module.

On power up, the RH mirror functions as it should, folds, adjusts on demand, however the LH mirror is still dead.

I suspect the toggle switch L/R was on the LH mirror and my have blown it or another module possibly.

The wiring/plug for the mirror control is small gauge wire so suspect these are control signals rather than power

Both 30A mirror fuses are fine and have 12V present

Can someone enlighten me please. unfortunately I don't have rave/pdf for the car.........subtle hint if anyone could assist.

Thanks in advance Wink Regards
Royston

Had a look through the electrical diagrams, looks like I'll need to look at (and probably replace Confused ) the passenger door module.........

Watch this space......... Wink Regards
