My USB stick works in the back of the car and it is recognised correctly - not so in the front ....

Chop it in for an L322. They might even still have your old one for sale |

Big assumption that the front & rear systems are compatible

PM me your email & I can send you a sample Basically a subscription to Pocket GPS World then download the GPX format files, unzip, stick on a USB stick & load them as custom POI's It works OK for fixed cameras - you can see them on the map & set an audio alert - but the alert works on the map - so it goes of regardless of where the camera is - so sometimes you get them for adjacent roads. The choice of available sounds is awful - there are only 3 on the FFRR - 2 that sound lime door bells & 1 that sounds like an ice cream van - instructions are the same as the Jag ones For the mobile cameras, the audio alert is too late - but it will display them on the map. Annoyingly they won't pop up on the instrument display, just the main map There are multiple file types - Gatso (fixed), Specs (average speed), common mobile sites & red light - you can either download a single file for all, a file for each type, or detailed files for each type (i.e. by speed limit) Files are UK and/or Europe & you can elect to have Swiss & French or not - as it's illegal in those countries Coverage on at least the autoroutes in France seems very good including regular mobile spots There are regular updates - you can download as often as you can be bothered to. |

Would the speed camera locations work on the L322? Or is there a version for the L322? |

As for Franks original question , it doesn't make sense that your USB stick works in the back but not the front . I'd suggest maybe the car entertainment software needs checking to ensure it is recognising the front USB port in the first place (have you checked for loose connections to that USB port?) . I have an issue whereby whenever I play a CD /or play an uploaded one , it always shows the title of the one saved in the last slot (10) no matter which one I play , kind of annoying , it does show the correct track number though. I assume this is a bug in the factory software so this may be the case for you (but with a greater impact). I think you need other forum uses who have 2 USB ports to test theirs and confirm back to you. @Alistair - I use a 16Gb stick in the car with no issues , also have a directory on it with all the POIs. For POIs on L322s, I assume the later ones had the hard drive Sat Nav systems so guess if they also had a USB port in the car, there is a chance the POIs could be uploaded. Steve

No problem Frank. Let me know how you get on as if they fix your USB software issue, there is also a chance they can correct my CD 'title' issue aswell. Steve
