bit of an update im now in possesion of the G4 underbody guards i.e the front skid plate , the tank guard and the exhaust guard ive spent today fitting the front skid plate and what a b435h it was i had to modify and re weld the corners as i didnt like the way it sat all forward and low down now that ive modified it ive gained an extra 1-2 inch of aproach angle and the skid plate isnt so in your face as you can see the difference between mine and how it looks on a G4 i had to use my extra spare pair of arms and hands to help fit but its getting there heres the pics not great but you get the idea more to come

yes i tried it for fit and thaught i can make this better as it sat low and stood out like a sore thumb so i cut the ends off refitted without end and then thaught what can i do so spent the day playing about with it the ends are now 2-3'' higher up into the bumper ive still got corner protection as the plate goes to the ends of the bumper corners underneith ive still little bits to finish off but will do the weekend onto no6 Range Rover

probly bout 70-80 mm if that helps , and there is normally 4 big bolts that hold it up and bout 10 little ones for the mudguards and stuff mine is a td6 diesel and they fit no probs also the G4 vehicles were all petrol other than the 09 my so sholdnt be any problems as for exhaust guard allow for a full day and be prepared to remove rear suspension arms BUT bere in mind the airbag is in between so im unsure how im going to get round this will find out the weekend if your not 100% confident in removing suspension and doing majer work please DO NOT attempt to do it get a dealer to carry out as it could all end in tears onto no6 Range Rover

not much as im in the middle of trying too fit the tank guard, ive only got round too fitting the brkt on the one side as its an absolute pain in the .......... i will fit the other brkt too the other side possibly next week. then ill try for fit and im going to and fit it closer to the tank and just play around with it as the std welding that landrover have done could be better i.e more of it around joints but we will see onto no6 Range Rover
