Can you remove executive class seating

I could be wrong but it appears to me this expensive option inhibits the desirability of the L405s.

Yes it will be nice when we are being driven around but when we are driving it just means one less passenger can be carried and if I want to put a big load in the back I can't fold the seats down. I think I'm right in that none of the seats fold down at all?

Anyhow a thought as I've seen a car that tickets many boxes but has the Exec seats. Could you remove them in the future and replace them with normally seats or would this be a hugely expensive job?

If you can't find the right car with Pimento, your chances of finding a spare set of rear seats has to be very slim.

I would also expect said seats to not be cheap - and if they were a different colour, then retiming & matching would be expensive.

On my VSE, the rear seats recline - so are powered - but also fold forward electrically with a buttons in the boot area.

As Craig says - retro-fitting won't be cheap or easy.....

Yes all good points. I assume your VSE doesn't have the exec seating so has what I've seen and like where they fold down with buttons in the boot you can press etc.?

Yes - I quite fancied the exec seating but my wife over-ruled

In hindsight, she was probably right Embarassed

Having only had 3 people in my back seat once in nearly 6 years of ownership, it wouldn't hold me back, in fact I think they're extremely cool! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

The fact that the centre seat folds down in the L405 was a real winner for me - it meant that when we went skiing everything stacked up through the middle - no more skis & boards on the roof Thumbs Up

Which, as it turns out, was useful as there isn't a temporary roof rack for the L405 - probably because of the pano roof - so it was permanent rails or nothing.
