do you have an old set of darts lying about, they should be thin enough to knock that out. ... - .- -.

I used a small masonry nail and a jewellers screwdriver, wd40 first though. Always better when moist...........😃 Many thanks

no darts stan, did have some nails that were small enough tried to hammer it through with no luck, can't really hold it whilst hammering and don't have any kind of vice/grips

You must have the tools so just borrow a set of mole grips then hold the key over something soft so the spring coil has somewhere to go when you hit it.

if i can't think of anything else paul ill take you up on posting it, i think ill cause more damage than good trying to hold it with mole grips and trying to hold a nail in the hole and hammering it, i don't think my nails are suited to the job either to be honest |
