remove flip key blade?

after i got my new flip key from group buy, i had timpsons cut the blade, they messed it up, it didnt fit.

i ordered a Cut to code key blade online, it came today but hasnt got the bit on the end that fits it into the key case,
ive found out i need to remove the Grub pin from the old blade to release it from the part,
has anyone done this if so how i cant think of anything small enough to hit that pin out with?

thanks in advance

do you have an old set of darts lying about, they should be thin enough to knock that out. ... - .- -.

no darts stan, did have some nails that were small enough tried to hammer it through with no luck, can't really hold it whilst hammering and don't have any kind of vice/grips

took it to local key shop and they didn't want to know either

Stuck once more, been trying to get this flip key done for about 2 months and seems to be a stumbling block everytime i get closer Big Cry

You must have the tools so just borrow a set of mole grips then hold the key over something soft so the spring coil has somewhere to go when you hit it.
You could also place the key onto two spanners or similar ( hit the coil out between them) so it's firm when you hit it, I'm sure you have plenty of stuff Around you like this ?

Or post the thing to me I will do it for you. Many thanks
Paul

if i can't think of anything else paul ill take you up on posting it, i think ill cause more damage than good trying to hold it with mole grips and trying to hold a nail in the hole and hammering it, i don't think my nails are suited to the job either to be honest
