Boot liners and dog guards!

Hi all, picking the new car up tomorrow and need accessories!

Can anyone recommend a good boot tray/liner for the L405? In my Sport I had an original Landrover one which was very good quality. Looking online it seems the 405 one is more of a tray? Is it any good or is there a better after market? Ideally looking for something anti slip as I'll be putting a dog crate in there.

Which brings me to the next question...is there a quality L405 specific dog crate or divider? I don't want anything to go between the headrests and roof as its a mini schnauzer. I might just re-use the crate I have but it rattles a lot and drives me nuts!

Thanks in advance!

I don't know of a divider that doesn't rely on the upright between the headrests to keep it in place.

There's a recommendation on this thread for a cage

Maybe you could adapt the luggage retention kit to something suitable ? Though that may interfere with the boot liner Confused

When we had our mini schn's, we used the crate but I put small lengths of clear tubing on the parts that touched causing the rattles.. Just cut short piece, slice it along length then slide over... I think it wa either washer or fuel tube from halfords

I use a TransK9 dog crate

Superb quality, expensive but silent in travel and I think worth the money.

I actually use a Trans K9 crate for an Audi Q5 in my L405 as its a bit smaller than the one they produce for the L405 as I have Border terriers so do not need a particularly high crate.

Had the Trans K9 crates in both previous Discovery & Volvo XC90
Cannot recommend enough Thumbs Up

ps I have no association with trans K9 just a happy customer Paul

Thanks for the replies - might take a look at the transK9...but also the rubber hose idea might work on the existing cage to stop it rattling!

Hatchbag for the liner. Comprehensive coverage, easy to fit and not too costly.

I've got the divider which is a quality piece of kit, and also very useful. However, when you combine it with the official Land Rover heavy duty boot mat, it doesn't really fit properly for some reason. It's almost as if the boot mat is just a little too big. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

I have the LR rubber boot liner which is very grippy, and use a Lintran dog box which fits perfectly, with no rattles.
Solid sides and top to the box, so that if a wet/muddy dog decides to shake, it won't spray the headlining etc.

I have the same system, LR boot liner and Lintran box. I am very pleased with it.

I also have an "Over the Top" tailgate cover which can be removed and washed to stop muddy feet from spoiling the tailgate.

Plus worth having one of these:

Keeps the boot locked and weathertight, but leaves a gap of air to circulate which means your pooches are kept cool if it's warm, and stops all the condensation if it is cold/wet. When I am out shooting the dogs sleep in the box and this little gadget is life-changing!!
