Im looking at a car in stratstones, price seems decent but ill probably still want to haggle.

anyone a review of the place , ill be having it checked over thoroughly anyway , but looking up reviews of the dealer generates a very mixed bag of results.

I don't know this particular dealership but having dealt previously with Stratstone and provided they stick to type they will generally tell you that they do a "daily price point check" to ensure that they are amongst the most competitive price within their chosen target area (Not necessarily National but within a distance they feel most would want to travel within)

They do generally have decent prices and in my experience will reduce a little but not mega. Just do your home-work and know what others are selling similar for. Wink

From my current experience trying to buy a car from them they're either 1) don't care or respond, or 2) can't spell, don't care & don't respond or 3) pushy, don't answer questions, can't write a coherent sentence & don't know anything about the cars they're advertising.

"Not impressed" so far re their sales dept. would be an understatement...

*Update April 16*
So I think it's very much down to which individual you get, recent experience has been better...

I had an aborted attempt to buy my first FFRR from them back in early December.

The car was advertised, awaiting pictures and when I called to see when it was going to be available, it was brought into them two hours later. The car was overdue a service by a ways and they sent me a short walk around video. To say the car was filthy would be an understatement-not a car that has become dirty but one which had clearly been treated like a midden with ingrained dirt and scum everywhere. It also had bodywork damage that he hadn't noticed.

The salesman was pushy despite me informing him, after seeing the video, it wasn't for me. It took another call and an email to finally get the message through.
