England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Oh I expect the unexpected all the time... my point to the OP was, don't just change stuff without knowing what has gone... his pedal may well be knackered but there are several other things it maybe....

I'm pretty sure they carried on using the same throttle pedal as the later supercharged ones are plug and play to ours... changed a bulb on my mates late 3.6 the other day, the boot one and it still says BMW on the fitting so I think they kept some stuff...

But I am beginning to think we have a better made FF than the late ones, mine still has no external rust, a great tailgate etc etc.... Pete

I wouldn't change anything, I'd be making the persons who have already been paid to do the job change it, for free. And if they try that line 'wear and tear' I'd be asking why they haven't failed on the 2002 model Shocked That will put the cat among the pigeons Thumbs Up

Pete, next time you are near a newer L322, tap the tailgate, were it says Range Rover, with your finger nails and then do yours, and when you've picked yourself up.... tell me which is better Wink

And lets face it, just because it looks the same and does the same thing, doesn't mean that it's built to the same standards... I personally recon that there was a lot of cost engineering done on the later L322's, and while they are better in performance and spec than the earlier cars, I do wonder as to their longevity Rolling Eyes Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Fretless, the problem you describe is different to the OP, having read your post it would appear that there may be a TSB which covers a throttle hesitation on the 4.4, AFAIK it involves a software update to the powertrain control module, which changes the injector software. Might be worth checking with the dealer LTB00054v2. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
