Hi guys, any advise on a new issue?

Happened over the last few days I've noticed the drivers side step is slower going in and doesn't fully retract.

Have wd40'd up all the moving parts I can get to and it seemed to do the trick whilst the engine was running, but when off and automatically parking the steps this one doesn't fully retract.

Any ideas? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8
