275 55 r20 Nexen Roadians

I know a lot of people on the forum have Nexens, but does anyone have them in 275 55?
I've found myself unexpectedly in need of some new tyres and I'm thinking of these Nexens instead of putting on 275 45's
Any opinions re the ride quality of 275 55's would be appreciated.

Think I had those on my previous RR. They were good, bit weak on the cheek.

Thank you Robert. I'll see what else may be available. Travelling around in circles again.

We had these on the SC for 20,000 miles/ 2 years J90.

Superb and comfortable tyre. Weak/ soft side walls etc... often mentioned.

To avert an inevitable collision due to an oncoming car spinning out of control in our direction, I had to rapidly mount a high kerb (free of pedestrians!). Collision averted, the wheel took one helluva bang but all was checked out and no alloy or tyre damage.

They were actually main dealer fitted when we bought the car.

Used only 'on road' albeit in all weathers, our experience was that this is a very, very good tyre which never troubled us with road noise. They are comparatively cheap too.

Thumbs Up
