Those LED bars are superb but I wouldn't put one on the roof, a few on the off roading club I'm in have tried and they are so bright the reflection off the bonnet is really bad and negates the purpose of the bar... basically they are a victim of their own brightness....

Which is why they should be set back from the leading edge of the roof so that the roof itself Shields the light hitting the bonnet, distance back at just enough to let the light cut down past the bonnet. The sport bars as mountings should allow that. V8 or else ... |

Lamps are still king when it comes to beam, and beam is what gives real potential to see futher. To get better beam control and efficiency out of LEDs, they have to be facing towards the reflector. Generally speaking, the bars are very bright, but are not a patch on a good pair of large lamps for throw. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
