New L322 owner from Surrey

Hi all
A quick hi from a new L322 owner.
I know a few of the members here as we have common interests across other forums.
Looking forward to learning more about this one, which is:

2007 tdv8 Vogue in Silver, with black leather and burr walnut, 92k miles.

No stranger to LR products as prev had a Disco 1, 3 x disco 2's, and an ill-fated lpg'd P38.

Apologies in advance for the inevitable questions - I do know how to use the search function, which I promise to do first!!!

Am looking for some bits - removable towbar, load liner etc, cheapish private plate so please shout up if you have!!

Cheers

Fellow Johnboy, from same county, saying, 'Hi!'

Can't help you with parts, but you can read up here on retrofitting a tow bar...I think your model is the later type, so check this before buying etc. (2006 is the later type?) am I thinking this is correct chaps? Typically people need an armature, that's the main frame bolted underneath, with plug in wiring, and sometimes missing and separately, the choice of the better Westfalia clip-in locking hook, it's a two pice carrier, and drop in hook, though held with a pin and R clip to the armature... Or the slightly chunky looking 'farmers hitch' type which is a sort of plate with adjustable positions for a normal bolt on tow hook. -again all held with a pin and R clip. Both can be permanently fixed with a chunky nyloc nut and bolt. ( with the drop in hook being still removable, and refitted in seconds)
Plenty to read here Johnboy.

Hi Paul

Mine has no bar fitted, so the full she-bang. Don't really want a fixed one as I think they spoil the look of the car.

Hi David, fancy seeing you here lol. Fitted your steps yet?

two working arms are probably necessary! I have had some success with my attempt to get music streaming from my phone though. Test bed is working.

@newboy John boy

I have an as-new 2006-on tow removable bar (with Key) available. includes electrics etc but needs the ECU (I gave it to a mate Big Cry )

I only bought it for a previous FFRR but sold it before fitting.

PM me if interested.

Thumbs Up
