Frozen sat nav

Guys the Battery died in my 2008 tdv8 i let it stand for 5 mins with key out then changed battery with no problems except that the sat nav has frozen and you cant get past the first screen everything else works phone blue tooth cd ext if i disconnect the battery it will work then when you start engine screen goes blank for a split second then comes back on but sat nav does not work? (frozen) i cant even eject disc when it is like this i am starting to lean towards sat nav unit being u/s,What do you guys think?

Ok i will try that but everything still works except sat nav frozen
