Gents,

Trying to check out my FBH ( with my fingers freezing!) , cannot do a search on my phone and in a yard a fair way from home so not good reception , a few questions if anyone could help please

What number fuse powers the FBH....?

Where do I locate the fuel dosing pump ...?

Is there a way to test the fuel dosing pump without removing it...?

Anyone remember the sequence to bypass the system and start the FBH unit from the connectors on top of unit....?


I had all this on my iPad but it hasn't 'iclouded' to my phone for some reason I would hate to have to put it all back together and go home with no result

It's fuse 19 in passenger glovebox, don't know the rest tho

Ok no fuse 19 listed in mine , think it's fuse 59 for FBH on my model

Fuse 59
You can not force these units to run off the car without a can us adaptor
But you can short two of the wires in the boot or on top of the unit to to start it running
White/green and red/yellow need shorting together
But you may need to clear the faults before it will start again(locks out after 3 failed starts)

Dosing pump is located drivers side front of the fuel tank
You can test it by dabbing a live on the small black and red wire ,it should do one pulse of fuel every time you dab it with a live

Hi Ironhorse thanks for the info but got it sorted in the end by the chap mentioned above Ian Smith from Sub Zero ( and pretty local to me

He had the adapters to plug directly into the FBH then read on his laptop and cleared fault codes and reset it as it had locked out, presumably after the 3 failed attempts,

Like I said I wish I had found him earlier would have saved me a lot of time and money but hey ho its toasty warm now , Mrs loves it as set it this morning and didn't tell her haha ,

He is kept very busy as he is mobile which was great, he will come to your house/work etc but not sure what his waiting list is like, as I was local he fit me in between other jobs
