when I start the car the aircon switch lights up, but after driving for a few minutes the light goes out.

Cant tell if the aircon is working or not as its too cold outside.

Any idea's

I have just had the suspension pump and reservoir replaced could it be connected. Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty,nothing else matters.

Once the light goes out (it shouldn't by the way, mine stays on), what happens if you press the switch?

When I start the engine the light comes on and stays on whilst the car is stationery, however within minutes of driving the light goes out and wont come back on even when button is pressed. But if I stop the car and turn ignition off and on it re illuminates then goes out within a few minutes of being driven Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty,nothing else matters.

I bet the AC computer tells the compressor to engage and then does not detect pressure rise in the circuit. Get fault codes read, this would immediately tell why IHKA module thinks it's not a good idea to have the AC turned on.
