Can't say the door cards had ever been removed but i was hit in the rear which required a new rear bumper (seriously how can someone not see a Range Rover?? ) but i'm sure the air bag light was on before this. How can the stealer give you wrong information to change a apart? its not like parts are cheap! might have to arrange to pop down will PM

Had something very similar. Plugged RSW in and it listed the rear passenger head airbag as at fault. Got hold of a secondhand unit then removed the door pillar rims so that i could drop the headlining to gain access. Disconnected the battery then went for a relaxing coffee. Removed the offending airbag unit, fitted the replacement. Connected everything back up, Plugged the RSW in and everything now working.
