Okay, so, this morning I started my full fat to drive away to work, after a couple of miles the sound started breaking, on/off knob start flashing and a very annoying arching sound intermittently ticking from the passenger side, it got worse, to a point where I no longer had a radio to listen to.
This evening on my way home it started again, I gave the passenger side dash a good punch, it disappeared leaving me with a rather wonderful last 5 miles home listening to Classic FM.
Somehow I don't think my man love smack in the chops will be the end of the story, any ideas? is it easy to remove the dash top and have a look down?

sounds like a loose connector in there somewhere, the dash ends come off too if it sounds like it was in that area, just clip off. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
