Hi all

I've got a near full set of replacement trims for the lower doors, rear bumper where it meets the quarter panel and trim in the front bumper, all in black to replace the silver I have now, has anyone removed any of it, so they can give me some guidance please? LR TOPIx shows simple trim removal tool but they look well clipped in (I have the full door lower trim so can see the think insert fixed into the plastic piece) and I don't want to mark the paint prying at them with a removal tool?

Did the new trim come with new clips ?

I replaced my side fins & the new ones were a good guide - I still broke a few clips removing the old ones, but didn't really matter as I had new clips.

The fins required a good firm tug, but came away fairly well - you should be able to pretty much tell what to do from the new ones - including whether there are any hidden slots, or whether they should pull straight out.

Indeed, but black wheels also.

The trims come with lugs that snap in rather than separate clips, I'm worried I mark the surrounding paint with the trim tool

Put a rag between the tool & the paintwork
