The turbo sump is just the drain and not the oil pickup. Unless it's giving you a warning that you need to remove some oil I'd leave it until you get an oil extractor. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

How long and how many miles since the last service? You can drain the main sump by removing the suction pickup connector if you are waiting to get an extractor? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Around 4k however I always start fresh so I know where everything’s up to, so I’ll be doing full engine, transmission, transfer case and axles. I did see about removing the pipe, but might be tricky to do that to get only a small amount out whilst oil is still gushing out lol |
