Hi all,

First post in the tech section....good start eh?

I've scanned for an answer but i can't find what I'm after. I've got a '06 SC with intermittent puddle light problems, when the car is unlocked they come on for about 2secs! I've checked and replaced fuses/ bulbs but no joy!

Is there a plug type connector in the mirror or are they wired straight through?

mirror puddle lights do only come on for a few seconds unlike the bottom door lights which stay on longer.. ... - .- -.

After much fiddling I've found that near side bulb holder has corroded elements, quick scrape and a clean and now they both work perfectly...think they give about 10-12secs of illumination.
