How to polish out Aluminium Treadplates ?

Hi

My Autobiography has the Aluminium Door Tread plates.However, they have become scratched ... is there a way to polish these to remove the scratches ?

I remembered something on this see the post below, they can be removed on the 322 and sent for re anodising Thumbs Up
