i had to do lessons that were 3 hours long as the test lasts 1 hour +time to practise manouvers etc .i think the lessons were £60 for the use of the car and trailer
at the time the guy had a astra bsm car but he is now self employed with a impreza and a small box trailer
if you choose to do it in your own car remember if you sit it a auto car you will only get an automatic b+e licence

Update

I now believe that i can use the FFRR to tow a trailer upto 750kg, making a total maximum MAM of 4250kg. This means me removing the plate from my trailer, and ensuring it never weighs more than 750kg, which should be ok for 90% of what i want to use it for Very Happy
