Hi, my Range Rover (L322) gives me options to either read out and reply to texts or ignore reading out texts. Not sure about missed calls, only comes up with missed call on the sat nav screen. Not sure if it's to do with the actual phone itself. When I had an iPhone 5s it didn't give me those options but I've now paired up a windows phone it gives me the read out options. Hope that helps a little. |

Just noticed no CD track, artist etc info either, pretty bad when cars a tenth of the price show this, does your L322 show this info? |

Carl, no I don't think mine does. Not looked for a setting to display it if there is one. I'll look next time in car. Most of time I listen to the radio. |

On Text: if iPhone, set up "Hey Siri". Have phone plugged in. Ask siri to read texts.

I'm using a Nokia Windows phone, it gives that option with the newer LR's I drove?

I have never used a CD - always an iPod with around 6000 tracks on it. I think you need to have CD text on the CD for anything other than the CD number and track number. I can burn those from iTunes. |

If it is a new CD, it will just list the tracks with no information as I assume the Gracenote software will not yet be aware of it. I have this on a couple of CDs I bought and uploaded via the CD player onto the hard drive in the car , they just show as CD 8 and CD 9 and not info. I assume thaat hte Gracenote software is updated every so often via dealer or radio carrier signal? Steve

Yes, that could be it, when I inserted the disc it said something about Gracenote, never heard of it before, |

Mine just says track number. But mine is an old model. Just wondering if it could be updated to show more info? |

Not sure , depends whether your head unit can have the Gracenote software added, I suspect that if you don't have it already, it won't just be a software update. Also, from the amount of CDs I've now converted to MP3, I am surprised at how often the Gracenote software gets the track titles (and sometimes albums) wrong and even though I have got the correct artist/song/album saved against the track on the USB stick, the Gracenote overrides this with what it thinks it should be , it's probably around 85-90% accurate. Ta, I've never tried mp3's. I was thinking other day to put some mp3's on a DVD, would they be readable? Can't remember if the disks are + or - disks, and would that matter? |

Not sure, when I had my L322, I put hundreds of MP3 on a CD and the head unit showed the artist/song names that I had defined on each track. If I remember though, I found a limitation as to how many MP3 would be recognised under a folder listing, so subsequently broke them down (as I just put loads together on the CD , not albums). I think the drivers manual said something about this but gave no information as to the amounts. I think the basic cure is to create quite a few subfolders so that you never exceed the track limit. Not sure about the DVD as I always just used CDs (as no video involved). Steve
