No it's more like a wastegate noise, happens after accelerating sometimes, but not always, it's a strange one, I can't replicate it, just happens occasionally.

It's not concerning me, as it doesn't seem to have gotten any worse after nearly 12 months. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

My noise isn't speed related.

Drive with steady acceleration and when 2k is reached the noise starts for a second.

Accelerate hard and it doesn't happen, weird.

Paul, is yours a 3.6? As all others on this thread are 4.4’s sir so may NOT relate to your model...

NMJ, have you tried left foot braking whilst at standstill in D and giving the accelerator a good kick whilst holding the car still with your left foot? Then try the same in R... You should get some quite disturbing turbo waste gate noises... All of which are NORMAL!!!

Then try reversing up a very steep hill and rev it quite hard, you should then get the waste gate chattering quite well too All very normal sir
