After smash problems

Hi all,
My beast was rear ended early October.
Upper and lower tailgate ,bumper bar, tail lights damaged and part of the rear left quarter panel was scratched.
Finally got it back and now having some problems.
1) When I engage low range, the symbol doesn't appear on the dash. It does engage tho.
2) The same with HDC control, it engages but no symbol.

When I'm driving along and I move the gear selector to sport mode, the 4X4 symbol appears on the dash.
When I put it back into drive,it goes out.

Can anyone give me an idea of what could be happening and how to fix please.

Thanks
littlecub

I'd get on to your insurance company and tell them it's not fixed, a decent impact can effect all sorts of things, not just the obvious damage...

Maybe worth a look around in the boot cubbies to see if any wiring is damaged.. Pete

Maybe two plugs have been refitted the wrong way around?

But as Pete says... Give it back and let the insurance sort it Thumbs Up

Thanks guys.

The insurance co is aware of the problems and are currently investigating on what the smash repairer did.
I'll let you know what happens.

cheers

As previously stated impacts can do all sorts of funny things even a very minor bump up the rear can upset sensors, dislodge connectors etc.

Who did the repair (I guess it was someone in Sydney?)
