i always wondered why the sunroof switch was on the passenger side of the cab.... so i pulled it out and changed it with the blank vented cover...now i dont have to stretch to much to operate the roof.. ... - .- -.

Same reason we have to reach right across the car to adjust the volume... everything set up for LHD.... Pete

I had a Lexus LS430 years ago and it's dash on the RHD version was a mirror image of the LHD one, it was so refreshing not having to reach for everything...

Being pedantic it isn't as much as 5 inches. If you triangulate from your seated position to the two switch positions it's only a couple of inches. John

Out of interest do they switch the park position of the rear wiper around for LHD cars? On most estates and hatch backs they don't seem to bother, which is why on a lot of RHD French and German cars you see a big un-wiped section of rear window when you look over your shoulder, from the passenger seat if you do the same it's all clear. On the RHD Range Rover it's set up for RHD cars. |
