I've been in discussions with various dealers across the UK this past couple of weeks looking to deal my SDV8 for something else and was about to deal on a particular brand when the dealer (none franchise) emailed and pulled out with 1 day to go before collection citing "he'd been advised of a significant change in the market" for new shape RR's. He's not the first to say it either, a few advised I get rid now, sounds ominous for a crash in values.

With winter coming Id thought at least a slow in the decline, maybe not?

Perhaps just that the first cars to go on sale are about 3 years old now, so about to drop off their initial lease or typical business deals, so more used cars suddenly on the market?
Or perhaps someone has discovered JLR bought their ECUs from Volkswagen  Norman

Prices have been strong for sometime and it's fairly normal for them to take a dip mid way through their cycle. I try not to worry too much how much I'm losing because the trade off is that I'll generally get a better deal on the one I'm buying

Facelift?

Okay, its done 76k, but we are getting very close to a 405 for under £50k....

Jeez, that's high mileage (2013 to 2015)... Less than 25k miles to go before you can't extend the LR warranty (approx 2 yrs?)

nevertheless prices are dropping a bit which is good for me .

Speaking to the dealer it seems there may well be a facelift next year. Nothing too immediate though so shouldn't have made a dealer re-assess a deal.

MY2017 looks likely for the first facelift but an update of the infotainment could be sooner.

Yes I seem to think its 12 months before a facelift .

a little maybe so should have had all faults done but my uncles a7 has done more 82,000 as he uses everyday. _____________________________________________________
