If I was ever in any doubt about why I drive an FF

Driving from Glasgow to Applecross in the most horrible driving rain and wind, then having to negotiate the Bealach in the dark, with wind, fog and rain, I have no doubt in my mind I was in the perfect vehicle for the job.

200 miles in 6 1/2 hours would have been a nightmare in any other car.

Yep i did a driving tour in N Ireland last week along the Coastal Causeway Route (A2) and up to Stranraer and back for the ferry over here, often very heavy rain and wind but the car never missed a beat and I was fresh and ready for a drink at the end of everyday.

I just did it for pleasure and it was Very Happy (working for a living is just a distant memory Rolling with laughter ) Geoff

Having driven a Toyota MPV for the last 20 years I was impressed early this morning how the FFRR was not blown sideways, went where it was pointed and made you feel safe in the gentle breeze the country has been enjoying!
I concur with " if I was in any doubt why I drive a FF", and suspect I'll see out my driving life in one - can't get out of those vehicles that have a high sill and you sit on the floor!
