dpf cleaning

just got a 2011 tdv8, can you tell when dpf cleaning is taking place
been told to get it engine upto temp take it down dual carriageway and drive it gently and consistently for 3-4 minutes and it shoudl function...will i be able to tell if it does it ...?

You’ll only know if the light comes on to tell you its full! Otherwise, you may see some occasional puff’s of smoke whilst it regens... Thumbs Up
