Extended mode

Strange thing happening today, each time I try and lower the car to access mode, it keeps going into extended mode, when in this mode, if I press the button to lower, it just come back with message extended mode, if I move very slowly in reverse, and press the button on the move, it will lower to access mode. I have noticed it seemed to take a long time to lower from normal to access lately.

I have been selecting access mode on the move (slowly) just before parking.

Anyone ever had this happen?

Extended mode should only happen if you hit a rock on the underside IIRC ?

Suggest try a battery reset to sort out the ECU ? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Thanks for the replies, I will order a new valve and read up on how to do a battery reset Thumbs Upl

Just had another thought, when I added sound proofing to the spare wheel area, I added foam all round the compressor

I wonder if this is stopping the compressor from venting properly. As the car is a 2012 build I should think it has the latest, improved valve fitted.
