If you have waited till all the lights on the dash go out then confirmation that the self check has been done and all is correct.

still did it today from cold after i left it a little while between ignition and starting for the lights to go out, drove 10 miles then was parked up all day on a farm, then did it again on way home only this time HDC inactive flashed up for a few seconds then went off. Drove perfect the 10 miles home then i stoped and started it again and it didnt gong. Defo only does it from cold..

It sounds like the low outside temperature warning. However when the engine is warm, the heat will get to the outside temperature sensor (when the car is sitting still) and "raise" the outside temp measurement.

thanks, makes sense as only started doing this since the weather got colder. And once engines warm it dosent do it until car left all day or over night.. |
